1985 Topps Vending Case!

Item: 190056319773

Seller: 1neatstuff

This was my first ever vending case. I got most of the premier cards from the set, including the Clemens and McGwire rookies.

I learned a couple things about vending cases:

(1) There were no duplicates. This could be a positive since it is more likely that this case includes 1 Clemens or McGwire compared to opening packs until you get 500 cards. It is also a more efficient way to complete a set since you will get 500 "unique" cards. But it is also a drawback since you have no chance of getting more than 1 of any card, elite cards included.

(2) Most of the cards aren't in pristine condition. Don't get me wrong - the cards were very nice. But there were few, if any, PSA 10's. I think the reason for this is that a vending case has one layer of protection (i.e., the cardboard case itself) while a box that contains unopened packs has a double layer of protection (i.e., the box AND the pack).

Regardless, I'm very happy with the purchase. Good job 1neatstuff!

Ernie Banks 1970 Topps Beautiful!

Awesome card! Described as NM/MT+ and the seller was right on! The reverse is just as pretty as the seller implied it was. I will be getting this card graded by PSA and will be disappointed if it is not a PSA 9. Well done 111rjd!

I've seen the A+ thrown around a lot on eBay feedback but this one is truly deserving of that grade. A+!

Warren Spahn 1956 Topps Fraud!

Item number: 120057338483
Sold by member: jillk1998

Card was described by seller as mint condition. There is a big crease running across the middle of the card, not to mention ugly corners. It is really a PSA 2 or 3.
